To start it up, just connect it to the car battery, as well as to the cameras, providing the latter with the power necessary to operate with the engine off for 24 hours.

If your car's battery drops to 11.4 ~ 22.8 V, the parking kit will stop consuming it so that it don't use it up and you have enough to restart your car.
